Daisy came to us for a kitchen remodel. She said that her kitchen felt like a cave with the large planter shelves overhead. She said that she did not have enough room for a dining table. She was making due with a table in a small nook, but she said when she had people over for dinner, they had to climb over each other to get in and out. She wanted to open up the space, make room for a dining table, add storage and overall make the space more modern.

We removed the planter shelves, a built in pantry and a small wall that was diving the room to open up the space as much as possible. We came up with a floor plan that would allow for multiple built in pantries and a large island with back to back storage and waterfall ends. This allowed for extra storage and seating. By making white sparkle quartz waterfall ends on the island, Daisy can now pull up a new full size dining table to the end without it seeming awkward and there is enough space to move it into the room when guest come over if they need more seating.

We moved the plumbing and electric as needed and installed new can lights, under cabinet lights, ceiling fans, outlets, and switches and moved the ducting for the microwave vent. We fixed the drywall on the ceiling and walls as necessary. We removed the floating wood floors and installed wood look tile throughout the space. We moved the sink from the island to in front of a window, installed new gray sparkle quartz countertops on the perimeter with an undermount granite composite sink, new faucet and white marble herringbone backsplash.

In the living room, we installed all new cabinets for lots of extra storage with gray sparkle quartz on top and a decorative Ipe wood chevron pattern backsplash behind the TV.
