Jennifer G. Kitchen

Investment in Kitchen Remodel: $32,866.24

Jennifer came to us to remodel her kitchen. Initially she wanted to rip everything out and replace it, with larger upper cabinets and a large modern island with waterfall ends. We discussed the budget and for what she wanted, it was not achievable at what she had saved to invest in her kitchen.

We went over different options and designs and she decided that refacing the cabinets was the way to go. She decided on a dark gray shaker door with a modern handle and a blue glass backsplash to modernize the kitchen. We added a cabinet to replace the built in desk in the corner and added an additional cabinet to the end of her peninsula before we did the refacing.

We cut down the raised bar to counter height and extended it. This allowed us to do a sparkling white waterfall edge on one side with bar seating on the back.  This made the kitchen feel much larger.

We installed a new undermount sink and a modern faucet. We removed the tile floors in the kitchen and installed wood look tile in the kitchen and attached family room.  *She supplied the new appliances.
